What’s Going On?

In the last few days you may have received a note from me asking if you are “still with me?” (If so, click the black box.)
No small number have asked, “What’s going on? I read all your articles.”
I’m glad you are paying attention. If you did not receive this email, your place in the database is in good order.
Here’s what’s going on …
We have secured a promising strategy to take back control of how “Everyday Grace” and my blogs are delivered.
As you know, the last five years have been plagued with delivery issues that started in July 2021. In the middle of that month, I wrote an article contrasting the promises of Socialism to the alternative: the promises of God to provide for us.
As it turns out, this spiritual perspective was akin to whacking a hornet’s nest with a stick.
Seven months earlier, the day after POTUS signed an executive order legalizing late-term abortion, I wrote an article exposing the infanticide. The next day, my social media was banned. What I spent two decades building, remains a lost cause. The message is brutally clear: Terminating a baby’s life is a treasured privilege.
About three weeks ago, I hired a technical mind to go through the back end of our websites, apps, and connected accounts. I asked that he scour everything looking for remedies and strategies to resolve our issues.
When I wrote the July 2021 article, my accounts were suspended and my database was seized. As it turns out, this suspension and seizure ruined my electronic reputation. This caused a cascade of electronic fallout that resulted in me being classified a “low-value sender.”
My bad reputation and low value as a contributor to the social narrative, justifies action by email providers to not deliver, throttle, or censor the content I create. Thus, the irregular, random delivery of my articles to you, my subscribers.
In addition—whether this is coincidental or related to July 2021, we don’t know—the Google of China, Tencent QQ, has been bombarding my subscription form with bots. A bot is a software application designed to perform automated tasks on the Internet. These tasks can range from simple, repetitive actions to complex interactions that mimic human behavior.
The result for Lifetime-PHG is that our database was overwhelmed with meaningless subscriptions. This further diluted the legitimacy of my database and me.
But wait! There’s more—just like the guy on TV used to say.
A dark operator in Amsterdam has been spoofing lifetime.org. Spoofing means these dark souls masquerade as Lifetime Ministries, sending out hundreds of emails per day appealing for funds, banking data, personal information, etc. Once we discovered this, we blocked the Amsterdam folks and built additional safeguards.
I’m sorry if you received any of these spoofed emails. Per usual, if it doesn’t sound or feel like Lifetime-PHG, disengage. Then, go to PrestonGillham.com or lifetime.org and see if the content you received is on one of our websites.
As a bit of an aside, you may recall that I wrote a second article in July 2024 contrasting the promises of Socialism to the promises of God. That article was not blocked outright, but it was severely throttled in its delivery.
Clearly, someone in power does not want me to contrast government versus God as ultimate provider.
Folks, a spiritually significant target has been identified. While I may be censored, you are not!
The enemy of society’s soul has revealed his position. Whether God is God or government is God is not negotiable. Just as the Bible conveys, there is a war for the wellbeing of humanity.
Tighten your belt. Be light in dark places. Salt in an unsavory world. Engage. Be winsome and wise, careful and calculating. Love furiously.
Returning to the issue at hand: What’s going on?
My technical buddy is cleaning and securing our database. This is why you may have received the email asking if you are “still with me.” If you did not receive the email and you receive my articles, your file in the database has not been affected.
Simply: If you received this mentioned email and wish to continue receiving my work, click the black box to confirm. If you are uncertain, email me.
My tech colleague has blocked the bad actor in Amsterdam and installed safeguards against spoofing. He has purged the database of Chinese bots and created filters to prevent this type of copycat attack in the future. Finally, he has built automated monitoring systems that will alert him if we are attacked again. He is now a member of the Lifetime-PHG team.
These mitigations should restore delivery of “Everyday Grace” immediately.
Lifetime-PHG’s reputational problem is more complex. However, with a more efficient, sophisticated, and targeted delivery of my articles, my electronic reputation should improve and my classification as a low-value sender should change. Email providers should resume delivery to you.
Personally, the ruin of my actual name and reputation remains. I’m not sure if this can be remedied. But then, my Older Brother suffered no reputation either (cf. Phil. 2), so I’m in good company. If you have any spare prayers, embracing this reality is settled in my mind, opaque within my emotions. Thank you for mentioning my struggle to Father.
Whether my work can trend in the marketplace or not, the bottom line is that my work spreads as you endorse it, talk about it, and encourage others to read. Doing this via your email is sketchy given my name being blacklisted. Spoken words are better. As I say with some regularity, we are in this together.
If you have questions or concerns, let me know.
Now, lean into our heavenly Father.
You, along with Lifetime-PHG, belong to God. At the end of the day, whether we are permitted to speak of the Gospel in society or not, it is a fool’s errand for anyone to think he can impede the advance of God’s Kingdom.
Be confident. Our Father has us securely by the hand.
I will continue to think, study, consider the Scriptures, pray, and write to you with honest, candid, transparency about life and important matters in the Kingdom.
My calling is to advocate on Father’s behalf while helping you practically apply and problem-solve your life with Jesus. Each morning, until I believe I have this focus clearly resolved, I dare not place my fingers on the keyboard.
Now you know what’s going on.
Rock on!
Much love.
