"The battle every Christian faces is walking through life struggling with believing and acting upon His truth vs the lies that infect us. This story was a great read, an allegory of sorts that clearly demonstrates this battle. It showed clearly that the battle is not won with a single offensive or in a straight line from beginning to goal but rather may be convoluted and long. The beauty revealed in Hank's life is that the love of God for us is NEVER changed whether we are on the path or have wandered. I found this to be a very practical presentation of the walk of the Christian - running the race to reach the goal. The goal being moment by moment fellowship and intimacy with Him, not some distant achievement or location."
