The outright attack on people of faith, Christianity, and conservative ideals is remarkable. It is certainly not unprecedented, but it is more pervasive today than in several decades.

All law, education, finance, philosophy, and power are structured to allow for and guard against the fallenness of humankind.

Tomorrow never comes. Today is where God’s mercies reside.

We are citizens of the Kingdom of God. Our hope is not tied to Washington, DC. Our confidence is invested in the character of God.

Are you pushing and shoving, cursing the Orange Man, denouncing demented Joe, resenting the demise of America? If God instructed Christians in Rome to pray for Nero as a leader established by God, I wonder what His thoughts are regarding prayers on behalf of Mr. Trump?

In November we are not voting for our next pastor.
